Happy full moon everybody I thought I’d give this new vegan fish a try which is banana blossom and let you know how it tasted.
I bought
a tin of banana blossom and I dried the banana blossom with some paper towel and marinated in a small amount of soya sauce small amount of garlic and a touch of lemon juice. Then I added flaked dried seaweed. and marinated overnight the next day I made a batter from beer, cornflower and flour mixed it up and kept a bowl of flour separate. I dipped the banana blossom in the flower and then into the batter and cooked.
I have to say it tasted pretty good. Why don’t you give it a try?
